“They have the same values as we do:
playing outside, reconnecting with
nature and playing with bugs is a large
one, too. Growing your own food and
just being present in nature. Those are
goals we really align with.”
Hope is Growing is another initiative
Scott Wentworth is involved in and
there are many more that he and his
crew are involved in and he’s proud to
be part of. He’s a modest guy, not into
self-promotion, but Ally is glad to sing
his praises. “His enthusiasm transcends
to us, and it’s why I speak so highly
about him.”

THE MAN BEHIND THE NAME
Ally has a lot of admiration for Scott
Wentworth and the company he
founded 30 years ago. She speaks to his
community involvement, for example
running the Prince Edward County
Soccer League for many years.
`“He is a special person to a lot of
people, and that has actually helped
grow the company, because he is recog-
nized as someone who not only works
in the community but is part of the
community, who helps the community
and he’s still really busy and involved.
“If I say he has created this beautiful
thing, he would say, ‘No I haven’t, we all
have!’ He genuinely believes that and
makes you believe it too,” she says.
“He has done a great job creating an
environment where we all feel we can
become something special. It’s about
growth and learning and getting better
within yourself, helping the greater
good,” she says. “And that’s a reward-
ing thing to be part of.”
It sounds like a win-win organization.
The team gets to design and create
beautiful landscapes which can create
beautiful memories for their clients – but
also for themselves.
